Star Trek...totally loved the revamp of the classic series, REALLY breathed new life into the Franchise that was on its last legs with that awful "Nemesis"...shame too cause aside from the original crew, Picard and co. were my next favorite crew.

Pixar's "Up." Great animated film story-wise (it doesn't beat you over the head with uber-sentimentality like past few Disney/Pixar projects), one of the best I've seen in recent memory.
