I ain't seen shit besides the bluest skies and the brightest stars, all accompanied by sweet breezes and the scent of pine. Fuck your lame movies and TV.

I'm allergic to nature, almost as a whole, so if I'm smelling pine it either means that the floors have been recently washed or I'm about to spend the next few days with a constricted airway and itchy soles. :P

Got the darn theme stuck in my head, so I watched G.I. Joe The Movie... yup, still nothing like the opening would make you hope. :/
I'm gonna make a guess and say that you're not allergic to grass. If you were, you'd probably feel much differently about the outdoors! Seriously, I break out in a rash if I touch grass and have trouble breathing around freshly mowed lawns. I've had to tell dates not to bring flowers because having the inside of my head itch doesn't make for a great night out. :P Not that people really do flowers if they're not already in a relationship but still, good to be proactive about that sort of thing.

The only allergies I have are to something in ketchup, pickles & the like (probably vinegar), and to proud, willful ignorance. Only real gentlemen still bring flowers to a first date...or so I'm told. I wouldn't know, not being a gentleman. I do know what smart people bring though: an exit strategy in case the date blows...uh, sucks...um, bites... Stinks! That's it, in case it stinks.

the most recent movie that wasn't a repeat was 6 UnderGround (Ryan Reynolds)
I recently re-watched both Rise of Cobra and Retaliation. Also my fav parts of Terminatorark Fate and Salvation. TL;DR (maybe) commentary below on the old Joe movies: Don't remember how long ago it was I watched either of them. I was so disappointed with them I had no interest in re-watch in years, but the new Classified and Retro release had me thinking. Also I saw the combo pack of both for sale on vudu so ... both are actually a little better than I remember thinking when I first watched them. Still a lot of little things that bothered me. |
