Finally got through Venom. Meh. I feel like I've seen it before.

Watched Captain Marvel last night. I had previously watched a hand-cam version online, which was terrible. So, whereas I already knew the gist of the plot, this was the first time getting to really "see" the movie.
I thought the action was good, and it made for a really good prequel/origin story for both Marvel and Fury. However, coupled against End Game, they really built this character up to be underused in End Game. Oh well, here's to hoping Spider-Man 2 Far From Home fills in some of the void. Jason |

Jason Also, I dunno why people keep watching shitty bootlegs. There's no enjoyment in it and it's just a waste of time. Plus, the film-makers and actors worked hard to create a spectacle and these fucking thieves do a real disservice to the entire experience. And it is theft, just as repacking a toy is theft. |

Nah, they built her up in her own right for her own movies. They intentionally held her back in Endgame in order to focus on the original Avengers, which I'm glad for. Not that I think she's stupid (she's awesome), but because it wasn't her movie or story and they put the attention where it belonged.

Today I saw ‘Toy Story 4.’ It wasn’t quite as good as the last one, but the ending is a real tearjerker.
They do a short gag with some 3 3/4” ‘Combat Carl’ toys. I was hoping we would see more Carl, but they were only in one scene. |
