Went and saw Ghostbusters today, and was pleasantly surprised. It was a good movie, fun and entertaining. It is not going to win any awards or anything, but it was enjoyable. The movie's use of 3d effects was well done. It has issues, but every movie does. It's a shame so many people made up their minds about it without even seeing it first, and are bashing it. If you go into situations thinking the worst usually it will turn out that way. As far as the originals go.......nothing made with the Ghostbusters name slapped on it would ever match the the first movie, but I enjoyed it more than Ghostbusters II.

man all the legitimate issues completely destroy that movie for me now. With the discussion of a Ghostbusters Cinematic Universe and a male spinoff my actual hope is that they do Ghostbusters 2 with the girls waking up to in their headquarters thanks to events leading from 1. And they have to deal with an even bigger Gozer level being. |

the male spin-off with Channing and Chris Pratt was BS. Ivan Reitman's said so.
