Die Hard - Because I can't let a Christmas go by without watching the best Christmas movie ever. I'm only sorry that I didn't have a chance to watch "Prometheus" and "Ronin" in time too.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens - This is the movie that I wanted instead of any of the prequels. All they did was lessen my opinion of the entire series, and ruin any daydreams that I had about what might have happened to Anakin Skywalker. They pussified one of the best villains in cinematic history. TFA is a lot like "Jurassic World" in that it's both a sequel and reboot. They both tell similar stories to their original movies, but they take them in a different direction too. I had some fears when we found out that Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill would be brought back, but Fisher was great. I loved that they went back to the more basic style of sabre-fighting, and weren't ping-ponging off everything onscreen like Yoda was in the prequels. Adam Driver seems to be getting a lot of praise, but I thought he was the weakest actor in the movie, and the worst designed. But I know both he and his character will have a chance to evolve over the sequels, so that opinion is open to change. The biggest surprise about the movie to me is how fast it got here. It seems like it was just announced, and now it's already out. |

Indy 4-still don't think its the abomination its made out to be.
Anchorman 2- not nearly as funny as the first but does contain some serious laugh out loud moments |
