Okay, Throw Mama from a Train was okay.
This thread is the only thread I have to reload several times...what is up with that? Well, then yesterday(Cinema Sunday, i guess) I watched Warm Bodies...WHY, oh WHY? at least I wasn't JUST watching it, and got some cleaning done during it. It's basically Twilight for Zombies.

I started this thread 4 years ago.....whoa.
since Friday its been Iron Man 3-enjoyed it even more the 2nd time and the Agent Carter short is MUST see. Fast & The Furious 6-utter shite.a big step down from the last one....looked cheap as fuck in places too. The Purge-better than I expected to be honest. Ghostbusters & Empire Strikes Back on Blu-absolutely awesome as usual. |

I just got this in the mail yesterday and watched it right away
It's just as awesome now as it was in 1986, but the LD is AMAZING! The audio on this is the BEST I've heard of any version! I actually never knew that the groanings of the space ship were actual words for the last 30 years, but yesterday, listening to it on LD for the first time, I could understand the groanings that the boy heard just before he escaped his room. BTW: This thread is messed-up. EVERYTIME I click on it i can't connect, and get a message that it has a redirect loop in it, or something like that. I finally got thru by clicking PAGE 3 instead of NEWEST or LAST PAGE.

Brotherhood of the Wolf - I remember loving the trailer for this back when it first came out, and ordering the Canadian 3 disc Director's cut DVD. But it just hasn't aged well. The picture quality is pretty poor, even for a dvd. I've never seen a blu ray of it here, but I'm sure it's out there. The director's cut is just way too long though. Probably about 40 minutes too long. Don't know what the theatrical length is, but it has to be better. Mani is still really cool, and the "wolf" looks great, but the movie needed more of both of them. And maybe a little less of the long lost French brother of Mickey Rourke and Thomas Jane. He was much better in the last half of the movie though. This movie really needs an American remake.
