Olympus Has Fallen. It was as good in a different way than White House Down.

Predator 2 - It could never be as good as the first, but it was fun. It would be hard not to be with such a great cast. It always amazes me how Danny Glover looks about ten years younger than he did in Lethal Weapon, even though that movie was out five years before this. I think it's all about losing the mustache. I really wish they could have filmed this in New York instead like they wanted to. But it was just too expensive. They really need to put out a director's cut of this. It was rated NC-17 when it was first submitted for a rating, so there's got to be a lot of extra footage out there. In the behind the scenes featurettes Gary Busey mentions that it was his character that had Dutch's team sent in to South America in the first movie, and that Dutch died nine weeks after the events of the movie. That had to have been in an earlier script, cut scene or just some background info given to Gary to get into character. Or he could have just made it up, the man is insane. The behind the scenes stuff with him is hilarious on this movie.
Keep in mind, he did admit that just a couple years earlier he had nearly died after hitting his head on the concrete while going 45 knots (yeah, I know, what the hell? But it's his words) on his motorcycle. |

Clear History - This is a comedy about a guy who lives in a small town that he moved to after an incident that happened to him years earlier. Life is good to him up until someone from his past shows up in town. If you like "Curb Your Enthusiasm" then you're going to want to see this. It stars Larry David, Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, J.B. Smooth, and Liev Schreiber.

I still remember the 1st time I seen it and THAT trophy room scene.Fiona was just commenting on Glover in LW2 and in this......she cant believe it. and yeah Dutchs mentions/involvement have been legendary.Arnie always insists he wanted to film the cameo where Glover/Harrigan comes to see Dutch in the Vets hospital.....and Dutch is in a wheelchair etc.trouble between Orion and Fox over something prevented this though as Arnie was already filming T2 or had just signed on. |

I wish Arnie would drop some of these lousy movies he has lined up and do another Predator. He could be a paranoid old man living in a cabin somewhere, surrounded by a bunch of traps he's made in case a Predator comes back for him. Really though, he should have just played Laurence Fishburn's part in "Predators". That would have really made that movie a lot better. |

That would've been great if he was somehow included in part 2. IIRC he was mentioned in Predators as well, just not by name. There could something there for him to work with if they decided to make a part 3.

Yeah, Alice Braga told the story about Dutch's team in "Predators". Now that I think about it, they should have just made her Maria Conchita Alonso's daughter. She was pregnant in Predator 2 after all.
