Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen - My least favorite of the three, but still very watchable. This movie probably has the best color of any that I've ever seen. You could pause it at any time and use it as a wallpaper. Short on story, but big on action, and really, isn't that why we watch a Transformers or Michael Bay movie in the first place?

ROTF is my least fave of the 3 too.....but ironically it had the best toy line by far. my fave is still the first.it has a charm the others weren't able to replicate. my last was The Strangers.......always a good watch IMIO.serious tension on display for the 1st watch. Jurassic Park 3D - Fan-frickin'-tastic! It was like being back in '93 all over again. Though the theater felt smaller this time, which is odd because it was an IMAX...well a fauxmax really, but still. I loved every minute of it. I wish more old films would get re-releases like this.
And yeah, the first Transformers movie had a more Spielbergish feel to it. It's the best story of the three. But the third was fun just as an action overload. |

Predator - Another of my three favorite movies. There just isn't a bad part of this movie. It never slows down, it never looks fake. I've probably seen this movie more than any other (a close race with "Smokey and the Bandit"), and it's just timeless. I did watch the "Ultimate Hunter Edition" blu ray, much maligned for it's DNR. But I've gotta say, other than the meeting at the begining with Dutch, Dillon and the General, the rest of the movie looks better than ever. And now that wave 3 of the Joe toys has been delayed, I can afford to buy these bad boys: Predators 7" Figure Series 08 - Set of 3 - Predators (2010 Movie) Figures
I love T2 also. I think the Extended Special Edition, hidden on one dvd and blu ray is my favorite version. I love the scenes where the T1000 kind of loses control of his body after being frozen and melted. |

yes Predator is one of my all time faves too......just fucking awesome all the way.
I love that the T-1000 is damaged after being frozen and smashed too.also lets the closing arc flow more freely with John seeing the 1000s feet copying floor etc. LOVE the war scenes at the start as well & the scrap in the bar etc etc etc....... |
