Captain America: Fun for sure and a very good entry in the Marvel catalog, but because it was an intro that had to get us caught up to the Avengers I felt like it was really missing something.
Friends with Benefits: very funny. It's a romantic comedy but it twists some of the more predictable beats and there's some genuine belly laughs. The Fighter: still love it, though the more I watch it the more it becomes clear that this is Dicky's story more than Micky's. Bale probably could have competed in lead actor, but supporting got him the win.

Alright, new forum. As per my personal tradition, I will post the last SEVERAL films I've seen along with mini reviews in this thread.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon 6.5/10 This movie in one word: LASERBEAK! The series of films in one word: Whatever... The Kids Are All Right 8/10 I'm not sure what it was about this movie that kept me from giving it a higher score, but don't let that fool you, this is definitely pretty great. Really solid performances all around (but Mark Ruffalo was NOT Oscar material), great direction, very naturalistic dialogue, and some really great tense scenes. I especially liked Jules, Julianne Moore's character. She was just so likable from the very start and had such depth to her later on. Gamera: Guardian of the Universe and Gamera 2: Advent of Legion 10/10 GAMERA: FUCK YEAH Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 10/10 A very satisfying conclusion to the series. Really effective emotional beats, spectacular visuals, and, as always, Hermione is awesome. Rodan 7/10 Definitely one of Honda's best. Really interesting plot structure, top-notch miniature work, and the suits look pretty good. However, watching the dub version can get grating because the main character's narration never. Shuts. Up. EVER. Seriously, it's like.... *Shigeru scuffs his shoe on a rock* "As I scuffed my shoe on that rock, I wondered how long it would take before it would be buffed out. How much would a professional polisher charge me for it? How much money would I save if I did it myself? Did i even possess the skill to do it myself? Perhaps I would never have it buffed out, and my shoe would forever look as if it belonged to a homeless man. The Italian leather scarred by its oh so brief encounter with a miracle of geology, a sort of badge of honor. Signifying the tremendous lengths I'd gone to in the pursuit of happiness in life..." And the main reason I now consider myself a fan of this website's central topic: G.I. Joe: Resolute 10/10 Alright, let's see what all the Joe fans are going on abou--HOLY SHIT SNACKS, THIS IS AWEOSME!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. I absolutely don't like this type of movie, but I was utterly shocked that I thought it was pretty good.
