Anyone else buy the Best Buy Version with the Sideshow Collectibles Optimus Prime Head?...I must say it's nicely detailed, but $50 DAMN!. Or did you get yours at Wal*Mart with the Extra Footage, or the Target Version(I dunno what special that came with), the movies story maybe crap, but BluRay quality VFX on a 46'inch Widescreen Screen and Surround Sound is KICKING MY ASS!

I guess most are embarassed to own up to buying this, but if ya got the balls, what was so "Special" about Wal*Marts "Extra Footage"?...new scenes, IMAX Hocus Pokus, more of the Image on the screen or something?...I get the Movie was a joke, but the Robot Rock'em/Sock'em stuff was excellent.

I got the Walmart version. $20 was an excellent price for a new BluRay! Plus, some Perdue chicken came with a $5 rebate coupon.
This version is the one that was shown in IMAX theaters and it's called the "big screen edition." It's one minute longer, but I couldn't tell you what's different. The big screen part takes place during the best "Rock 'Em Sock 'em moment, the forest fight. During that scene, the film fills the entire widescreen television, which is the aspect ratio of IMAX I guess. Pretty neat, but just that one scene as far as I know, so you didn't miss out. I did watch the Easter eggs, which I wish I could un-watch. If you assemble the vehicles poperly, you get treated to Michael Bay being douche. Wonderful. Great looking film on hi-def though. Even if you hate the robot designs, there's no denying how intricate they are. |

I have a friend in CA who got me the Wallmart version on Bluray. Liked their cover better and I wanted the extra footage.
Those transforming cases look pretty silly to me. |

I just got the $15 regular DVD.
After watching the movie again, I wished I hadn't spent $15 for it. Well, it's only money.... But that Sideshow deal sounds awesome.
