Among all the Movie Critics out there, I trust IGN's opinions the most. They may be the tech, gaming fanboys, but they're the awesome ones. I do trust Rotten Tomatoes at times for the general Critic view, but IGN's criticisms are my type of reviews. Roger Ebert sometimes save bad movies by giving them a positive review like Hitman, but he's kinda conservative and gave Die Hard a bad review. Almost all of the movies I liked were given a positive review from IGN.
But, at the end of the day, I go and see the movie, and judge it for myself. What's your choice of Movie Critics?

I don't "trust" any critic, but I regularly read Ebert's reviews, because he is an excellent writer, and evaluates each film on the basis of what it tries to do and how it goes about it...not on absolute "art film" type of scale.

None.
If a movie appeals to me (which I decide by reading up about it) then I base my choice purely on that. I'll never make such choices based on critics because at the end of the day they are, regardless of how they like to portray themselves as being the final word on such things, total strangers who haven't a clue what I like. I'd have never watched a 'Carry On' or 'Hammer horror' film if I listened to critics, and consequently would have missed out on films that I love.

Critics are useless NO-TALENT hacks. Let's talk about what they have accomplished. Wait. That's laughable.

I trust myself.
Hell, I was THIS CLOSE to film school as a younger lad, so I'm at least as qualified as 95% of film critics that get paid to be one. |

Me.
I go see the movies I want to see, rent the ones I want to rent and pass on the ones I have no interest in. Critics are all idiots. They have no idea what they are talking about. |
