Eye of the beholder dude, blond Barbie doll looking women do nothing for me. Not to mention the fact that she is a young actress. I'm sure no one here would refuse a date with her. Hell, what am I talking about I'm on an action figure website. No single guy here would refuse a date from any girl. Besides, I'm getting older and I have been married for a long time, so they all look good to me.

Just finished watching "Quarantine." I am not easily phased, but this one had me lock jawed to the screen. By far the most intense Zombie flick I've come across and I consider myself well rounded when it comes to the undead. Anyone else seen this?
Holy shnikes. Well, I'm off to board up my windows and sleep with my Springfield XD-9 under my pillow. Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite! Either way it was a pretty scary and intense film. Ive seen it about four times and it gets better every time.. |

Not to get all matter of fact on you but.............. they were not Zombies, they were infected......... any self-respecting Zombie enthusiast would say the same....... :-)

I watched the trailer for "REC" last night after I finished the movie and it looks awesome. I'm going to have to track that down.

Yes, it's amazing! If you can find and watch Rec (think the record button on a video camera). It's the Italian, I think, movie that Quaratine is based on. I'm pretty sure they just released it domestically in the US. I think it's much better. The end scene is soooooo much creepier.

Dawn of the Dead (original) is still the king of zombie movies imho. I have yet to see Quarantine or [REC] but Quarantine is on Starz on Demand so I'll watch it later this week.

I agree. Dawn of the Dead (1978) is and always will be the greatest Zombie movie of all time.

Of course they're not traditional Romero zombies. The definition of what a zombie is has expanded over the last decade. 28 days later has been mentioned in this thread quite a few times and those zombies are more akin to those in "Quarantine" ie they are not "dead." As more and more movies come out, I'm sure what defines a zombie will become more blurred.
As for the movie, I was surprised by how good is was. The trailers did not give too much away about the story behind the crazy looking people, so it all took me by surprise.

Yeah I love zombie/infected movies, as I watch'em all. They had one on SyFy which was a knockoff of Quarrantine. Tenants are locked in their apartment building cuz of a virus caused by rat bites, infects the city and the infected become rat-like/zombie-like feeding on the uninfected. Definately a B-movie but it was a ok watch. Also on Syfy awhile ago was the I Am Legend knockoff, I Am Omega. Again a low budget flick, but watchable if you wanna see a different take on the I Am Legend movies(Last Man On Eath, Omega Man, and I Am Legend).
