DMX is the only one in RR that's OK, but he's very hit or miss. Swizz Beats is beyond horrible as a rapper (remember 'It's Me B*tches?' same verse repeated like 5 times in the song). As for beats, they ALL sound exactly the same. Swizz Beats needs to switch beats. I hate all the $#it on the radio today. There's 2 ways to get on the radio- Have a catchy beat ( for example You're a Jerk) or have a catchy chorus (anything by Soulja Boy). If people actually LISTENED to the words ih songs, they wouldn't listen to most of the bizull shizit out there.

what you cats really know?? Outkast was the only group aside from Goodie Mob that gave the South it's unique sound until all the ignorant screaming angry rap started coming out from my neck of the woods. For a while I was ashamed to say I grew up in GA..... for a while the South was hurting on the ryhme scene. Eveything sounded the EXACT same and Cash Money and No Limit dropping albums every week didn't help much.....

You also forgot Analogue Brothers, Ice T and Kool Keith FTW! He was only on one song on Mike Patton's Peeping Tom album, but that's a pretty funky album, as is the album by Lovage, which both have Dan the Automator on them as well. |
