Geez... that didn't look great at all. Was Iron Man fighting Captain Harlock? Yeah that Wolverine was all sorts of fail.
This reminds me of the Batman Anime DVD: Gotham Knight, where I only enjoyed only one interpretation of Bats. |

Yuck. I'll stick with The Invincible Iron Man (and the Ultimate Avengers movies) for my Iron man fix.
And that Wolverine one . . . just wow. Total epic fail. |

Poor Stan Lee....someone should have told him that American Animators would be out of a job to the Japanese!

Yah, I mentioned it in the anime thread... saw the 720p fansub by Force-Works...

I watched it and it was awesome. It was so weird though because it was an Iron Man cartoon... but you could instantly tell it was an anime... with story telling meant to appeal to a Japanese audience. The mix of CG and animation was great... really reminded me of Macross Frontier at certain points.

It was doing really well up until that point though IMO. LOL. In fact that kind of made me not want to watch ep 2. LOL. And I think after watching Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark all other Tony Starks sort of fail in comparison for me.

And this trailer. Awesome. Well, right up to Captain eye-patch. Even if that turns out to be Fury, he's a little Anime for me. Anyway, I'm getting ready to watch the first episode now, read the subcaptions are probably hope for an english dubbed, stateside release. The Wolverine thing did look pretty off track. |

So what was so odd about the ending? Seems like a typical Japanese reinvention of some lesser used Marvel Characters.
No different than Whiplash in the Armored Adventures. Gotta be better than Fox's Avengers Zodiac crew. |
