Came out on DVD/Blu Ray a few weeks ago here in the US. One of the few remakes I actually enjoy.

It isn't out here yet, but am looking forward to seeing it, I liked the originals.

Horrible.
If you like Friday the 13th, or movies...avoid it. If you want to see a decent modern remake slasher watch My Bloody Valentine 3-d instead.

Yea i've seen the shorts to My Bloody Valentine 3D, i'm not too sure about it though... looks like another stupid Horror flick to me.

Its the same as the other ones: nothing new and or creative and certainly not a new take on Jason. So if you like the other films you will like this one. If you don't like the Friday the 13th world, then you wont like this one as well.

Think of this as more of a lost tale in the Friday the 13th universe then a re-make or re-imagining.

this is by far the best jason movie. he is brutal in this one i liked it. definatly worth a rent at least. just my opinion tho
