The Japanese flick Battle Royale is a bit like Lord of the Flies with a few twists thrown in. |

I am a HUGE Brandon Lee fan, and thought the Crow was great...but I was a fan of the comic before the movie...so Id like to see a FAITHFUL adaption of the comic; B&W, filmed like Sin City was ( panel by panel)

That is one fantastic movie. I bought a hoodie that has a class picture of them ont he back and says "I killed my best friend today" under it. while we are on it, I would love to see a GOOD American version of Devilman...one that made sense. There is a Japanese one that came out a few years ago, its fun to watch, but could be so much more.

I tried to watch it, I ended up skipping through the majority of it. I would have preferred they had just done a new series or animated movie. It seems like they didn't take it that seriously.

A remake of clash of the titans sounds good.
How about Beastmaster. If anybody else has got the dvd of it, there is an easter egg with extra nude scenes of Tanya Roberts. Can't believe that they actually did that, but I'm not against it. Also, the other night I bought The King of New York in a $3 bin. Hadn't seen it since I was kid. That movie rocks, and still stands up today. Also there are a ton of big names in that movie that weren't big at the time. Check it out if you haven't seen it. Christopher Walken is the man. Snipes, Fishburn, that red headed CSI dude. Speaking of Fishburn, Deep Cover is also a really good movie that could stand a remake. I'm digressing here, but if you want to watch some good 80's Cocaine gangster movies, You could do alot worse than a night spent watching King of New York, Deep Cover, and New Jack City.

(sigh) Where do I begin?...
Star Wars saga: The whole thing. Not that the original trilogy wasn't great, but the changes I'd make to the prequel trilogy would affect the original so it'd be necessary for example: My ewoks wouldn't be cuddly comical teddy-bears they'd be more like mogwi from Gremlins. Cute, docile, and seemingly harmless but piss them off and boy does it get ugly. Some other changes, Dooku dies in the first episode after betraying the Jedi having been secretly set-up and exposed by Sidious' shadow agent whom he knew nothing about Darth Maul, Anakin defeats Maul in a rematch saving OB-1 in the process, OB-1 in both the first and rematch with Vader: 1: narrowly wins due to Anakin's overconfidence, although it will clearly be seen that he was losing and going to lose. The rematch, He gets the Sithian beat down losing outright to the extremely powerful Vader. None of that sacrificing himself so that the others can escape mess. Another thing, Vader stays a major threat and bada$$ throughout the saga until he saves Luke and kills the Emperor who has always secretly feared him. That's just some of the Star Wars changes, but this is turning into a rant. Here are a few more remakes I'd like: The X-men trilogy (make it closer to the comic: No more pretty boy too tall Wolverine. He should be short, hairy, and manly-mannishly, brutal) GODZILLA. G.I.N.O still angers me to date. So much so that I may need therapy. |
