Wizard of Oz?
I love the first one. But I think that a new director could bring Frank L. Baum's vision to life. |

I don't know if anyone's said this or not, but Fritz Lang's Metropolis.
As long as they don't **** it up and put dialogue in it... |

How about Ghost dad?
It could star either Martin lawerence or Alan Thicke. Your choice. |

I'd rather see them follow the gregory maguire Oz, then just remake the original. and maybe remake a Return to Oz, 'cause the original wasn't creepy enough...

The Fifth Element. I've always felt that movie could have been a lot better than it was if it changed a few things, cut some characters, and added another hour or hell make a series out of it.
I've also been wanting to see a proper Tarzan film made, the closest they ever got was Greystoke. I think the last I heard Sommers is at the helm of a new Tarzan flick which makes me want to vomit in terror. Another would be Lord of the Flies. |

I would love to see an expanded modern day remake of Enemy mine.
I would also like to see a remake of Dragon Slayer. Someone mentioned Seven Samurai, however any modern director would turn it into a super slick pretty boy festival like House of flying daggers, it would have to be someone like Clint Eastwood, an oldschool drama oriented director. And please hire a real Japanese cast, I thought memoirs of a geisha was a huge slap in he face to the Japanese when they hired an all Chinese cast. |

I remember watching the old black and white one in school a few times. Did they make a new one a few years ago? hmmm, wonder if it's still shown at school?

There was this old movie called Robot Jox that I actually saw in the theaters that's needs to be remade with a big budget and top talent IMO.
