They are worth the effort, then? I still have them as well but never forced myself into the second book.

I ended up really liking them. It's been a while, but I think I had a hard time dealing with angry, bitter Thorn (Willow) in that first book. As the story evolved so did he and it did get better.

Thank you. This helps. It has been many years, but your description of Willow's characterization seems to align with what I remember initially disliking. I'll give them another chance.
Oh, man, I'm suddenly dying for some Willow action figures. The evil general would have been awesome. |

Someone mentioned Funko. I think they could do an excellent job. I need Madmartigan and the rest.

The blu-ray came out not too long ago. Should be easy to find on Amazon, Ebay or Import CDs and won't break the bank. Great movie and worth multiple viewings.

I don't think the movie did very well commercially. I recall in an episode of "Life's too Short" that Warrick Davis made a joke about how much it cost to make and how Lucas made some of that back.

Don't worry. A sizable portion of my paycheck ends up in George's coffers (or maybe did before he sold to Disney). He's doing ok.
