So I gave up on cartoons after the whole Dragonball Z and other Japanese animation shows took over thing happened but I watched a new Batman cartoon this morning and it was surprisingly good...(it was about the blue scarab and stuff). It seemed to have a dissent plot and great art other than batmans cheek... ne ways, ne1 know what shows are good these days?

That would be Batman: The Brave & the Bold, if you liked that show you should really check out the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited series.
Also there are a good number of DC animated movies out, the most recent being Wonder Woman. Out of all of them I would highly recommend Theres also a Green Lantern animated movie in the works too. Last edited by CallMeRotten; 03-17-2009 at 12:07 AM.. |

If you liked Batman: the Brave and the Bold, then I would also recommend Star Wars the Clone Wars and Wolverine and the X-men. All three are excellent shows.

All of the DC animation to come out since 1992 (with the exception of 'The Batman') was fantastic. Batman: The Animated Series and the mythology it started was the pinnacle though... all the way through the end with JLU.
Brave & The Bold is just FUN. |

I loved Duck Tales, and really dug Darkwing Duck.

I enjoy Duck Dodgers.
Dave Mustaine was on that show and every kid should know who he is. |

I am in agreement with Justice league, my wife and I love them. The most recent movie I saw was Superman: Doomsday...although it was good, I was disappointed it didn't mimic the original comic series or incorporate other DC characters like the comic series, which was back in 93 a very good comic run IMO.....I don't know if you or any other tankers were fans but I have purchased, at target/best buy, superpowers collection and superpowers: galactic guardians that use to come on back in the day and I still enjoy them! )))

I have to echo the feelings for todays cartoons. Thankfully Wolverine and the X-Men has given me hope for cartoons again. Brave and the Bold is also good, but more campy fun than Wolvie is
