I loved Unsolved Mysteries...I use to watch it religiously.
right now I'm all into that show A Haunting because imo it's done in that same Unsolved Mysteries type of format with the narration and the kinda creepy intro

I loved Unsolved mysteries. It never scared me though, since I was in my teens when it came out. I remember my friend and I used to thing that one of my parents' friends (who was very reclusive, lived in a house at the end of of a dirt road, gated driveway) was going to be on there someday. Great stuff! I just saw one of the newer ones with Dennis Farina as the host, but it just isn't the same without Robert Stack.

That show creeped me out so much that U still get chills when I hear Ultra Magnus talk. Just kidding. I loved that show. It was one of those shows that was so intriguing that even if it scared me, I couldn't change the channel.

I like the show it was something very interesting for me to watch. I would occasionally find one that gave me chills but not really scare me.

You know what the best part of Unsolved Mysteries was...when at the end of the episode or segment you would get that UPDATE and you're like yessss!!!! Then they go into whether they caught the killer or fugitive or what not. That was my favorite

My dad used to watch it, scared the hell out of me.
Are You Afraid of the Dark? on Snick had a couple ones that creeped me out too, one with gray faced people and one with Nosferatu coming out of a movie screen. |

I always liked it. My parents wouldn't let me watch horror movies, so Unsolved Mysteries was the next best thing.
What scared the jeebus out of me as a kid was America's Most Wanted. That first episode, where John Walsh told us all how his son was kidnapped and they found his head 2 miles from the rest of his body. I was 6 when I saw that. Brr. I now have an autographed glossy of John Walsh.
