Are there movies you like that are just so stupid or hated by others but you yourself love them just for what they are?
For me I have a few. MacGruber. A super dumb movie, but man, I love it. Battlefield Earth. Most hated sci-fi movie, but I really liked it. Wyatt Earp. Often looked at as the lesser movie compared to the more Hollywood version, Tombstone, but I really enjoyed that movie far more than Tombstone. John Carter. I think this movie suffered from a bad name, I loved it. It was original, not a sequel or remake. Based on a 1912 Edgar Rice Burroughs novel.

The Losers. Not a box office success, but I just loved the interaction between the cast and the action is pretty good.
1st Hellboy. What's not to like, it has demons, Nazi necromancers and things that go bump in the night. Good stuff

I'm not guilty about anything I like, but there are things I like plenty of others don't, like John Carter, the PT, Van Helsing, Iron Man 2, Daredevil, the Matrix sequels, etc.

Tango & Cash - It is the distilled essence of 90's buddy-cop action movies. It's not good. I can't defend my liking it in any way, but I just do. Thus it's a guilty pleasure.

In all fairness, John Carter is liked by pretty much everyone who actually sees it. It was definitely hurt by the name, and Disney under-marketing it didn't help. Word of mouth actually fueled really good home video sales too.

Agreed on Tango and Cash! I'd say Pieces, The Demon, Meet The Feebles (just kidding), Frayed, Nightmares, The Slayer, The Dark and Anthropophagus. If your a horror fan like me, you'll understand most of these.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Miss Congeniality 2(the first one was great, this one also makes me laugh), S.W.A.T., Around The World in 80 Days(I thought this was a decent Jackie Chan movie in spite of the bad reviews it got), Wyatt Earp, John Carter, Shaft(the one with Samuel L. Jackson), Unbreakable, and the Matrix sequels.

Crank, transporter 1&2
There is something magical about certain movies made for the dumbest of viewers, but that seemingly lack that self awareness and play it completely straight.

I like all 3 Transporter movies(not going to see the remake that's out in theaters recently though...ugh).
