I thought that Blade Runner looked great, but I just could never get into that movie. And now I have five damn versions on blu ray that I almost feel compelled to watch. 1/5 down, who knows if I'll see the rest before the sequel comes out. I did read that Ridley Scott himself confirmed that Deckard is an replicant though. But if he's not directing the sequel, who knows. Then again, if he doesn't direct it, it probably won't be worth making.

I foresee a cgi Harrison Ford popping up at some point in the movie...

I will remain cautiously optimistic here.....but I totally agree that it doesn't need a sequel in any way. I assume Fords role will be reduced and someone else will be the main guy?

no....the new ideas are there...but at this moment in time ,Hollywood studio execs want safe bets(hence ,the slew of of remakes and reboots) not gambles.

Do you dream of electric sheep.. part deux. Interesting... will have to wait and see who is directing before I make my judgement.
And that Uwe Boll bit is not funny at all.. the ruiner of video game movies has no business touching this. Lol But... on the other hand.. it didnt need a sequel... its that alone is just as baffling.

The Blade Walker! Joking..couldn't resist., I love Harrison. Seriously though, no Vangelis...no thanks.

he could probably re-work the original soundtrack (still one of my favorites) and do one or two new pieces and I would be happy (sort of what he just did in '12 for the stage production of Chariots of Fire)
