Yep Flint...I was a huge Snuka fan growing up.....I was actually nervous for him more than anyone last night..... I honestly thought he would get hurt. I was surprised they had Jericho take out Flair like he did...should be some more back and forth and perhaps a ringside confrontation with Rourke.
I also loved Piper growing up (once he went face) hated him around the Wrestlemania I-III era.....perfect heel though. I knew he was limited but Hot Rod is still the man. Steamboat---was and still a huge Dragon fan and boy are you right if Steamboat was about 5 years younger what a match that would be. The Hardy match had some really nice spots but I just figured they were going to end the storyline here with the extreme match and have Jeff come out on top. I also thought they would get a bit more time, but I guess they are saving it or time constraints prevailed last night. I guess they will go to the next PPV to settle it. Although I thought the twist of fate on the chair was sick!!! As for the Cena match...I like Cena, don't love him, but I like him he's entertaining. Don't understand the constant hate....I know people say he only knows like 4 moves but guess what so does Hogan and we're almost all Hulkamaniacs!!!! Cena blew me away when he had both Show and Edge on his shoulders...I really think Edge bailed because he didn't want Show to land on him, LOL. It wouldn't shock me to have Orton win the title tonight on Raw. The match seemed, I don't know, lackluster, but like I said before Taker-HBK drained the crowd. BTW, Taker reeeaaallly needs to ditch his flying over the ring bit. The bump he took was scary sick. I do not know how he didn't break his neck. I saw the ref come bolting from backstage almost immediately to get down there make sure he was ok. Replays had some folks near me squirming looking at it on the jumbotrons. He's getting up there in age and tha needs to removed from the moves list. Believe it or not Tito still works a good match and actually does stuff. But I guess in the overall history of the WWF/E Tito isn't remembered as fondly nor does Vince bring him out on tv at all. And speaking of Steamboat,he had another great showing on RAW last night. And the crowd response for him was incredible. He had to feel really great hearing people chant "You still got it." I know it made me smile. Now lets talk Cena. I know there is alot of people who hate him and alot of people who love him. While he isn't my favorite wrestler (that would be Chris Jericho) I admit I'm a fan. I think the problem some people have with him is he is shoved down their throats, much like Hogan in the 80's. I also feel that he doesn't get the respect he deserves as a wrestler and a performer. He is very good in the ring and understand the psychology of a match. He's also very charismatic and entertaining. But at the end of the day, he makes Vince money and he'll be on top as long as he continues to do so. And if anyone is interested in seeing the Divas who were involved in the battleroyal, wwe put up 2 photo galleries showing the girls off WWE: TV Shows > WrestleMania XXV > WrestleMania Show Photos > Backstage beauties I was happy to see Molly Holly, she looked great. |

I guess this will just turn out to be the wrestling discussion thread now, LOL.
I guess with Sgt. Slaughter being let go of the WWE a few weeks ago they really should have used him in that Legends match, who knows they may have offered but he said no. I know he was there for Saturday night for the HOF though. Heck they should have just used the King since he has yet to wrestle at Mania. Funny you mention Tito or "Chico" as the "Body" use to call him. I use to love him back in the day and wondered whatever happened to him. I think what would have been even funnier is if Vince and the Warrior patched things up and had him in that match. I watched his comeback match over the summer and he was still pretty much the same as when he left.......and I am a huge Warrior fan as a kid it was Warrior and Hogan and Cena is in that same mold as far as charisma and fans love hate relationship. Hell for that matter Hogan could have been in that but i guess he only wanted to wrestle Austin and when he said no Hogan had that surgery since it was given he wouldn't be at mania. I am a little surprised to say that I did expect to see Hogan at the 25th if not just some backstage segment if nothing else. As far as the Divas go....it's good to see Sunny getting back into shape....I always had a thing for her, LOL |

Chico Banana..lol. Jesse was great too. Tito is a school teacher and he own a beauty parlor as well. Really nice guy to boot.
The warriors return match was Horrible, but I was never a big fan of his, so maybe I'm partial. Sarge can move better then Snuka, but he doesn't do too much anymore either. I wish Hogan would have been there though, he still entertains me. And while he isn't the best "wrestler" there will never be another like him. |

I agree and he's an awesome wrestler. His matches against Savage for the IC title were incredible. Nevermind that He headlined a sold-out card at MSG in a match against Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. It would be nice if some of those IC matches were on the Savage DVD...
