Easy, Empire. I lke them all, but the Empire Strikes Back was just amazing. Great characters, epic battles, fantastic car cha...space chase, the coolest cat in the galaxy in Lando, Boba Fett, limb lopping AND the coolest twist of all... Vaders Lukes father.
Great movie man.

Ya, I voted for Empire too.
The primary reason why I like this one is because it contained some of the more elaborate and detailed sets of the Star Wars series. We are introduced to the Imperial Navy's Star Destroyer fleet, as well as a litany of new vehicles: Imperial AT-AT Imperial AT-ST Rebel Snow Speeder Cloud Car ... Plus I love the Imperial torture chair that Darth Vader put Han Solo in. That thing just looked brutal. Intense heat, steel needles and electric shock?! Ouch! And some awesome new characters: General Veers Admiral Ozzle (haha) Snowtroopers Lando The guy with the cool headphones (Cloud City) Boba Fett Imperial Probe Droid The music in Empire was also some of the best, and we are introduced to the much-liked Imperial March theme. Battle of Hoth and Asteroid Chase are some of the best visual sequences. One of the best things that I always remember is that each costume, background, model and set were all probably carefully hand-made one piece at a time, with the exception of the star-fields which may have been blue screened with the starships? Anyway, yes, I love Empire. It was definitely written for young adults and thankfully lacked a lot of the childish characters and themes found in some of the other SW films like Jedi and Menace. What's interesting is that I read somewhere that this is the Star Wars film that Lucas had the least to do with. Think there is a correlation between his lack of interference and the greatness of the film? Last edited by Bravestarr; 03-28-2009 at 12:25 AM.. |

In the "additional options" it asks if it's a poll and asks for how many options.

http://www.hisstank.com/forum/newthr...=newthread&f=4 What am I not seeing here? Toward the bottom of the "start thread" page, there is a small box to check that says something like, "Include a poll." Check that box, and then it should take you to the options menu to start the poll. |

Ahh, but Menace had Qui-Gon and Maul. Liam Neeson kicks all sorts of ass in any movie and Darth Maul rocked. Jar Jar is certainly weak, but not enough to mes the movie up for me. I love them all... Empire is just the best.

Empire=Hands down winner. Vader at his most ruthless, bad-assness. Maybe no longer has the most "intense" lightsaber duel, but certainly the most dramatic. The dialogue is top notch as evidenced in the playful banter between Han and Leia. IMO, Leia looks better in this than Ep 6 (slave outfit aside ) as she just wears too damn much make up in ROTJ. Yoda sounds more like a poet than dislexic.
