Radar Technician: I'm having trouble with the radar, sir.

Dark Helmet: What's wrong with it?

Radar Technician: I've lost the bleeps, the sweeps, and the creeps.

reading a bit much into what i said... only ment that it was the movie parody of the time. it is by far more entertaining than all of the epic movies.

Men in tight wasn't bad... But I agree Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs and Young Frankenstein... Easy top three.

They definitely try way too hard! Those epic movie, date movie, scary movie, meet the spartans type movies are just unwatchable in my opinion. The only one I thought had some really funny moments was Scary Movie 3. Other than that I stay way ahead of those films and when you can guess the punchline before the joke is over it ceases to be funny!

Just my $.02

it's creative retelling of a story vs. cheap laughs of the lowest common denomenator. the latter will never win. the only thing those films are good for are the 2 minute trailers inwhich you see everything you want to see. the rest is just filler.

men in tights had similar style of humor which made it funny and worth watching.
