NO SIR.. I DON'T LIKE IT...
It is way to campy for me. It seems to bring back all the stuff Batman has spent such a long time trying to get rid of. However, having said that. I understand there is an auidence for it and they should not suffer for my opinion. I just wish "The Batman" had kept running. I LOVED that series. Have all the seasons on DVD.

I haven't wasted any time with the cartoon.
I did enjoy the Gotham Knight bluray though. |

When i first heard about it i was excited about a new batman show, but then when i watched it i was very dissapointed. I know it's for kids, but when i was a kid they also had a Batman cartoon and it was vey awesome.

I agree with what you said 100%.
It's called Batman: Brave and the Bold folks. B&B was a comic series wherein Batman teamed up with a new partner every issue. It was a fun, friendly, COOL Batman. The toon pays respects to the CLASSIC Batman of yesteryear. And it's for kids, damnit. Not nerdraging young adults who think everything should just be the same thing they grew up on all over again. It's an awesome show. It respects the source material, and the DCU, and still has fun with it. Plus, how could you not like Aquaman and Red Tornado? But yeah the cartoon is fine for the Audience it supports.. I just can't seem to get into it. Its just too silly for me.

It's clearly for kids, and clearly an attempt to introduce the DC Universe to a younger audience. Superfriends sucked in 1982, but I watched it because I was 7. It's not part of my modern ideas about Batman or Superman, but it familiarized me with the characters early on. So I say, go to town DC.

I've seen enough Dark Knight with the movie, give me some good campy Batman for a change and let me have fun. that's kind of what cartoons for children should be about. |

Oh, and to further that comparison, B&B is WAAAAY better than superfriends. Be thankful it's as well written and produced as it is. Kids these days are so lucky, all I had was crappy old Hanna Barbera animation back in the days of rotary phones and analog tv channel changing.

Although I don't completely like the design of Batman, I like to see that they're trying something a little different. Overall, I have enjoyed the episodes more than I disliked them, so I suppose that's at least somewhat positive. It sure does look nice in HD.
My kids seem to like it, too, but they're definitely not clamoring for the toys when we see them at Target.

I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me. I really like the short opening credit sequences they are usually great.
