Hey Tankers. Was wondering if anyone else has come across this. I was at one of my local WalMarts the other day and they have the 4 Thundercats DVD boxsets for $20 each. No matter where I go on the internet (including walmart.com) they are always between $45 - $64. Anyone else seeing this in your neck of the woods? Figured $80 was a steal for the entire series.

The Walmart I found them at seems to be starting a sub section in their electronics department for the old cartoons. They had the GI Joe and Transformer sets there, as well as SIlverhawks (also only $20, it sells on Amazon for much more)

I saw those earlier this week. The GI Joe dvd's were sold out, plenty of Thundercats sets, though.
I was more interested in the SilverHawks, but still didn't pick it up. |

Yup, saw this the other day. I've had the 1st season for a while now, so I was definitely thinking about getting some more.

People have said that these have also been found at Big Lots I believe for only $6 each.
Usually you can find the first 2 sets pretty easy. It's the last 2 sets that are harder to find which usually makes them more expensive. I got the first 2 He-Man sets for $6 each, but I can't seem to find the last 2 sets at any store. They are so expensive on Ebay. I've been holding out on buying these Thundercats sets because I heard that the quality is horrible. The DVD's are made from VHS transfers. Hopefully a nice remastered set will come out someday.
