Wow, wasn't really expecting much from it, but it really blew me away, it's probably one of the best war movies ever made. So realistic, and it feels if they used actual footage from the Iraq war to make it. Not alot of star power backing it, but it really didn't matter, the acting was spot on, and the story is just intense.
Here's the plot summary from IMDB Quote:
An intense portrayal of elite soldiers who have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world: disarming bombs in the heat of combat. When a new sergeant, James, takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict, he surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn and Eldridge, by recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat. James behaves as if he's indifferent to death. As the men struggle to control their wild new leader, the city explodes into chaos, and James' true character reveals itself in a way that will change each man forever. I wonder what the deal with the movie studio is, this is far better than most of the action movies that are out there, yet they only release it in a select few theaters, morons. Anyways, you guys should check it out if this is your thing. |

I really want to see this - but since no theater within with 100 miles is showing it I'll wait for the DVD. -_-

Hmmm...this is JUST opening here in Montreal this weekend. I've been wanting to see it ever since I saw a preview for it last month. I'm a little torn, knowing that there are DVD rips online. I really, really want to see this.

I was also not expecting too much as it has had no support at all. I was in awe of how great it was! Like was said, I have never really seen any of the actors before, but I think thats one reason I liked it. This movie makes you stop and think about what they are doing over there. The action is intense in the way that it is realistic and nothing is repetitive. You do feel like your there. When it opened the nearest theater was about 40 miles away, but then it opened just down the road and got to see it tonight... If you like Blackhawk Down or any other war film that is War and want to see something with out a stupid plot, You will enjoy this one a lot!!! Go see it!!!
