It was light and entertaining, just the right movie I needed to cheer me up. They said it was the "Harry Potter" for teenage girls. There were a few cheesy scenes but the movie was great overall. Oh yeah, the lines at the movie theater in Union Square, NY was ridiculously long -- there were a lot of high school and college fans. |

It wasn't bad. I'm glad they stuck to the important parts of the book (Unlike whoever ruined "Eragon" by cutting out the important stuff, only to have it surface in the deleted scenes) even if some of the origins were cut out.
And those evil vamps reminded me of the Evil Kryptonians from "Superman 2", especially how the female would wear the 'pelts' of the people she's defeated. (BTW, that was the girl from "Big Wolf on Campus". Ironic? Oh yeah.)

The Army sucks in comparison to the deal you got!
If you give blood while in the Army, you have to go right back to work.

The South Park parody episode was amusing, though. |

That being said, I am currently watching True Blood, and am on the fence on it. We will see if the 2nd and 3rd episodes pull me in or send me packing. |

Even though Keanu and Winona sucked, Gary Oldman, and Anthony Hopkins TOTALLY owned their parts, and the vintage EFX and cinematography were EXCELLENT. |
