Anyone in the Tank watching Smallville??

Just a simple question. I was all over this show for the first 5 seasons then dropped off for a while. I caught it last Thursday and low and behold "DOOMSDAY!" He doesn't look 10 foot tall but from what you can see in the dark of the show... he looks pretty damn spectacular. I hope we see more of this battle, but as far as the show itself is concerned, I don't know how much longer it will be on. The original Superman movie is on TVLAND right now and I just thought I would start a Superman Thread.

this show is a huge waste of time anymore. The first couple seasons were cool, seeing his high school life and growing up and the grudge between him and lex. All good stuff. Now hes just a huge pussy that doesnt do anything. Put on the tights fly around and kick some ass already. sheesh

I've been watching this show since the second season, when my dad told me about it. Last night's episode was pretty cool, only that now we have to wait 'til January 15 for the next 'new' episode. As for him putting on the tights and kick some ass, not gonna happen, since the beginning they've been saying "no tights" on the show. Though it seems like this might be the last season.

I used to always watch the last 10 minutes or so while i was waiting for Supernatural to come on. But that was a couple years ago...

thats cool if they only wanted to do a few seasons of him in high school, not making him superman is retarded! Especially since the show has progressed pretty far into the years of smallville. We have the justice league forming, doomsday rolling out, Louis is loving on clark, but still hes a little bitch that cant fly or do anything. common!

I've stuck with it off and on throughout the years, namely because it isn't on opposite any of my favorite shows It's been one big cluster****, especially in the later seasons, I stopped holding out any hopes it would follow the book a LOOONG time ago, heh. But I'm glad to see they're going to go out big. I hope in the last parting shot, we can see him in the tights, taking off. I think they owe it to all the fans watching. I know about the "No tights, no flights, but after that lame movie and the JLA movie not happening now, that might be the only live action Superman we see in a while.

I am going to miss it though, it was a guilty pleasure every week. I wish they had another DC show to fill the gap, but just about everything that was supposed to spin off flopped...Aquaman (aka Mercy Reef, which was pretty good, IMO), no word on the Justice League (But the Smallville roster is kinda lame...). I think "Grayson/The Graysons" got shelved.

But back to the 'ville. Last nights episode was cool. That Lois Clark moment that was interrupted had to be the ultimate "Oh snap!" moment. I hate Lana, her whole deal with Lex was one of the lowest points of the show. Doomsday is pretty cool, and I actually like him being Zod's son. That makes them going toe to toe WAY more personal. I never liked the random monster thing from the comics... And Chloe, well Chloe can get it, and that's all I'm going to say about that

I can't wait to see how this ends.

They need to just end it, then in a year or 2 come out with a smallville movie that takes place right as he puts on the tights and starts kicking ass. Start a new franchise or something. do it like they did the OG star trek movies.

Lana needs to pack up and just get out of the picture! I love the Lois and Clark references. But ya'll are probably right, this maybe the last season. It will hurt to see it go. I will miss some parts but as far as some things... they need to go away. I think Clark is actually going to fly after the holidays roll by, or at least that's what the previews from last night showed. I have yet to hear about another season of this show, but when it ends, all we have is Supernatural. Tom Welling does make a damn good Clark Kent, and I almost stopped watching Smallville when Clark's dad passed away because I have been a John Schneider fan since I was 5 watching him drive The General Lee. Oh the memories!!

I don't think CW would end "Smallville" since right now it's one of their highest rated shows (outside of America's Top Model). CW's ratings are not doing that great and "Smallville" was at #89 for the latest I.T.R.S. TV ranking report, CW's "Gossip Girl", "90210", "Supernatural", "One Tree Hill" and "Privileged" didn't even break the top 100. Although "Supernatural" was at #101.
