Top Ten Military Movies of all time

Hey fellow Tankers with Veteran's Day coming up I thought I would pay tribute to our men and women in the service and those who have made the ulimate sacrifice.
What is your Top Ten list of military movies of all time ?

My list is in no particular order

1. Platoon (I love the real feel of Viet Nam)
2. Saving Private Ryan (Very graphic and hard core)
3. The Longest Day (Loaded with stars)
4. Full Metal Jacket (Stanley Kubrick enough said)
5. Das Boot (Wolfgang Petersen truly amazing)
6. Blackhawk Down
7. Apocalypse Now
8. Letters from Iwo Jima
9. Red Dawn (classic)
10. Glory

1. Band of Brothers
2. Saving Private Ryan
3. The Green Berets
4. The Dirty Dozen
5. The Red Devils
6. The Sands of Iwo Jima
7. Heartbreak Ridge
8. The Great Escape
9. The Good Shepherd (Deals with the Bay of Pigs)
10. The Rescue. This movie is classic '80's cheese, but it's fun.

Braveheart? Good call. I guess I was thinking more modern warfare.

In that case, I would totally add "Last of the Mohicans" which deals with the French Indian War.

"Enemy at the Gate" is really good.

Mel Gibson's "The Patriot" is good, but so is his early film "Galipoli"

That exact one. I remember seeing it as a teen... I've recently found it on dvd. I love it.
