I had over 300 DVDs. I sold most of them when I bought my condo. Wanted to make space. As much I loved having them as a collection I just dont have time to watch them all anymore. So, I kept specific ones and TV shows. So, I have about 100 now.

I have a few BluRays, but I am very picky about buying now. Easier to Netflix. And less expensive. Specially when think about how much I spent on DVDs over the years.

My wife and I have about 400 dvds. The entire 24, House, BSG, and JAG series'. Haven't gotten into bluray, yet.

I work for Pepsi, and fill the Pepsi vending machines outside our local walmart 3 times a week, so recently I've been hitting the Redbox there, instead of buying. I perfer to buy them myself, but since I'm already there or will be going by there, I've been taking the cheap way out.

Buying them worked out better than renting because we never could take them back in time. Several times in the past late fees were as much as what the movie cost.

Redbox works out best for me now.

I'm not a fan of Blue ray. HD tv is too much for me. I'm happy with my 22" tv from 10 years ago, it plays my dvds.

As for that, I am going to be downsizing my dvd collection. I only watch old tv shows, public domain films, gorey anime, and trippy stuff.
