I preordered band of brothers on blu ray. I plan on getting planet earth also.

| | Crimson Guard Join Date: May 2008 Location: michigan Posts: 1,188 | yeah im sticking with dvd, havnt ever baught a blue ray dvd, just because im not trying to pay that ticket, like one guy said if you ever see the blue ray discs in the 5 dollar bins at wamart that will be the day to start buying them, but i cant pay 30 bucks for a dvd, just too much money, mabe if they had the gijoe series on blue ray i would spend the extra loot but not for anything else. |

| | Das Ubersoldat Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: miami, FL Posts: 324 | Only thing to worry about the VHS is the upkeep...they can easily be ruined by being stored in hot or moist damp areas...and since you've got piles like me you probably don't check on them TOO often, them being big heavy stacks, and once when you bother to, and you haven't been careful, irreplaceable treasures are ruined which will really piss you off! |

Right now I only buy blue ray and I only get new stuff. I have both a blue ray player and an hd player so I am strictly high def. The DVD,s I have I plan to keep and I will only upgrade a handful such as the Star Wars saga and a few others. |

Have Netflix with a ROKU box upstairs - Its been great streaming movies. Waiting for the xbox 360 upgrade this month so i can stream movies downstairs. |
