I saw Eagle Eye last night (I know, a little late to the game. That's what 3 kids under 5 will do to your social life) with my wife. We both thought it was a great flick! It had a few stretches, but what Hollywood product doesn't? Would anybody else who has seen it like to comment? This is the first movie in a while that both my wife and I really felt was worth the 19 bucks we dropped to go watch it at the theater (unlike Indiana Jones 4 and the Zohan - which was a total and complete turd). Oh, and I don't think Shia had a single, "No no no no no no no no no no no" moment. (Check it out on youtube if you don't know what I'm talking about).

I thought it looked like Enemy of the State part 2.

For that reason I thought I would just rent it. My kids want to see HSM 3 and I think my son might like that Ember movie.

I seen it a couple of week ago, My wife and I really like it as well. We were surprised in the direction it went, as the early trailers didn't give anything away...

You're totally right on with the trailers/commercials. They are consistent with the movie but don't tell you everything, just enough so you get a taste and not so much that you'll be disappointed that you've already practically seen the whole movie already in the trailer. They are what first hooked me in. |

I enjoyed the hell out of it. Great popcorn flick. A lot of action and twists and a story that, while over the top, kept my interest...plus the Shia kid delivers dialogue so perfectly...great timing.

I loved how he was so low key most of the time. It shows he can play more than just a freaked out kid from Transformers/IJ4. I wonder if there will be an alternate ending on the DVD? Those that have seen it might understand why I ask that.

Yep. Thought the movie was really good. I go to the movies with the mind-set to just have a good time so even if things seem like a "stretch" or whatever, I allow myself to enjoy the movie. This is why I'm sure I will like Rise of Cobra because I, unlike too many people on here (IMO) am looking forward to liking the Joe movie, not picking it apart because it's inaccurate...movies are to enjoy folks...go make a GI Joe documentary if you want accuracy. So yes, Eagle Eye was awesome.
