New John Carter (of Mars) Trailer

Here's the latest trailer. Personally I think the earlier one was a bit more epic, but there you go...

The interview was proof (if any were needed) that if you point a camera at a random group of people, 90% of them will behave like idiots.

Welcome to Times Sq almost every weekday morning.

I'm looking forward to this. Big and epicy with a hot chick and powerful music...that's up my alley.

I admit I have no idea what this is from. Was John Carter a character before hand?

Hopefully we'll get some cool toys out of this, some of those big beasts would be awesome in 3 3/4.

John Carter was created by Edgar Buroughs Rice. (Tarzan)

It should be better than Princess of Mars

I liked this trailer way better than the first one. Much more polished, and nice to see the apes and tharks and even woola. John Carter of Mars has been a favorite of mine for years I collect the different release versions of the books, so hopefully the movie will get another set released, though the Michael whelan covers would be dang tough to top.

PitViper, John Carter was created in 1912! It predates Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon. Outside of the books, There were attempts of an animated film in the 1930's, but that was it. Marvel's John Carter Warlord Of Mars was released in a trade paperback by Dark Horse last year. The TPB covers all 20+ issues. There is a new comic. I have not seen the Asylum dtv, and I do not plan to. It does seem strange that one of the oldest pulp heroes, was not adapted into any visual media til 2009.

Flash Gorden, Crimson Ghost, Tarzan......and now this info. Which of course makes me want to see it more!
