As many of you know this film stars Christian Bale ( Batman Begins) and is the start of a new Terminator Trilogy, and in this installment we learn that this future is not the one John's mother warned him about.
Cool facts: Linda Hamilton has completed her voice over work for the beginning of the film. We get to see Kyle Reese Kate Brewster, now Kate Connor returns for the film (though played by a different actress). New Terminators in form of Motorcycles appear. as does T-4's T'600-700's. Danny Elfman is working on the score last I heard. We at last get to see a terminator assembly line (makes me think about the preview for T2 on Total Recall). So my fellow Tankers, What are your thoughts? Are you looking forward to this installment? |

IMO that is only cool if it's Michael Bhein; Brian Austin Greene ruined the Reese name for me forever. LOL. Quote:

I will miss James Horner's haunting score, but Danny Elfman is always good; I liked his music from The Kingdom. Quote:
If I hadn't seen the Sarah Conner Chronicles I would probably be more excited to see this film. The first season of that show pretty much sated my desire to see new Terminator stuff. LOL. But I will definitely watch this film eventually; it reminds me of a high budget Screamers. I loved that Peter Weller movie. LOL. |

Well let's face it, the Terminator franchise is not driven by deep content or intricate plots. It's an action movie franchise. To me they could make a hundred of them and as long as the action is good, the special effects are good and the acting is at least passable I'll watch them. Terminator : Salvation looks awesome. The trailer was cool. Christian Bale is a decent actor. Sounds good to me.

I can't wait for the Joe compatible figures. I'll see the movie to "justify" getting them. There seems to be a lot of 3 3/4" goodness being released right now. T2 will never be topped in this franchise.

This is the sequel that I wanted when I saw the original as a kid (in 1984?). I'm giddy just thinking about it..saw the trailer last night on Watchmen, got that tingly feeling...Also, this future can differ from the first movie based on the all the lil changes caused by all those troublesome time travelers....Uber Uber Uber excited...AND WE GET SCALE TOYS!!!!

The movie is going to be awesome, PERIOD!!!! I would rather they make 100 lousy movies based on things we love than not make any movies at all! This is the first year in a while in which there are many movies coming out worth shelling out bucks to see on the big screen!

This is the flick I am looking forward to most this year. I agree that the Terminator series aren't the deepest but I did like Cameron's social comentary in T2, I miss when comentary was subtle and not overbearing what so ever.
