So, a reliable source told me that apparently, Johnny Depp, Capn Jack himself, is in talks to play the Riddler... And then I saw this---

Not only that, but rumors of the Penguin in the next film are even more "substancial" now, as my source told me that at one point, they considered putting in the penguin (through a mention) in the Gotham Knight, which is further evidenced by the novelization made working with the original scripts for the animated masterpiece! Towards the back, barely mentioned, is Oswald Cobblepot!

Hoffman was rumored for Penguin even before Dark Knight started shooting-as for Depp being Riddler.all i will say is take it from me that if rumors come from an English newspaper,its got a 99% chance of being bullshit ;)

could be interesting...but i do recall alot of sites around the time they started working on Dark Knight (including AICN-not that they can be trusted) stating that Sean Penn was "in the bag" for the new Joker!
