Hall Pass

So I finally Redbox'd it tonight.

First off, it's not so funny. Not like I'd hoped it'd be. I thought all the funny stuff was in the previews.

Second, and a possible spoiler warning I guess. Don't let the 'nudity' warning fool you. It's just a brief shot of boobs towards the end, and an extended scene of peters in the middle. From two different guys. It was a lot of wang. Not my thing at all. Be warned.

It was worth the $1.15 I spent, but I'm glad I didn't go to the movies and see it. If you have the pay movie channels (HBO, Showtime, ect.), wait for it.

Not having seen the film and for this very reason is the sheer stupidity of the concept.

No woman in her right mind in a commited marriage would give her husband time off from their marriage to go get laid. Let alone several.

This film should have been classified as Sci-fi instead of comedy.

Its all part of the seriously watered down pool of middle aged male buddy comedy flicks that have become a modern staple of todays films....I blame Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller.

I watched it and wasn't impressed. The scene in the mansion (on the hidden camera) as well as the scene in the van were funny but that was it. It wasn't nearly as bad as Dinner For Schmucks but it still wasn't really funny. Luckily that smoking hot Australian blonde flashed her goods. Other than that it was pretty bad.

My wife and I got a kick out of it.
