Seriously, I think you are right, we did seem to see less batman in the movie, and while I am a huge batman fan, I didnt think ti was a bad thing, there was so much going on in the movie that I didnt notice it. |

I didnt really notice till afterward. I guess its fine but I wouldnt have minded at least a few more minutes of the bat.
Mark me down as one who thought the batman voice got progressively worse during the movie. I didnt mind it at the start and than later when he was pursing his lips together just to do it, it felt awkward and silly.

as far as over-the-top. the Joker wasn't so -- he was psychotic. again, those two terms aren't interchangeable just because you find psychotic behavior to be beyond normal. just because they share similar elements do not make them the same, but you continue to try and do so. good point... or I could have mentioned how Ben Affleck ruined my favorite childhood comic book character also.

I'm hardly a fanboy. I've never read a single Batman comic in my life, and my only "fanboyish" interest would be my G.I. Joe figure collection (I don't read the comics either), but absent of any real interest in the comic or other mediums I can't be a fanboy because the actual story elements are a pretty significant aspect of what being a fanboy is (I'm just interested in the Joe figures), so again your rationalization is off base. but again you need it to defend your flawed position. nerd? yes fanboy? hardly. those two can also exist independently as well from one another. you really need to stop trying to group things together to simplify them.

My point is The Dark Knight is a great Comic Book movie geared towards adults and not children. Great Stuff. |

You are debating on a toy site named "Hisstank" on how "REAL" you thought "The Dark Knight" was..............LMAO.......Yes, you win. You are not a fanboy or a nerd. I wont ruin your fantasy life anymore. My point is The Dark Knight is a great Comic Book movie geared towards adults and not children. Great Stuff. |

Well Merriam Dictionary defines it simply as:
"A boy who is an enthusiastic devotee (as of comics or movies)” So again you are debating about how real "The Dark Knight" was on a toy site for almost a 24 hour time span? What part does not scream Fan boy? But, that’s cool. You are obviously good with words so you try and win an argument by picking the words apart..........LOL. The reason why you do that is because the point you were trying to make was silly. What was that point again? Oh, you thought the movie was not trying to be a super hero film or a comic book film! |
