Confirmed by Spielberg at Comic-Con.
Quote:
"We have a story," Spielberg told 6,000-plus fans in the San Diego Convention Center. "We have a writer who is writing the treatment and hopefully we are going to make Jurassic park 4 in all of our foreseeable futures, hopefully in the next two or three years."

Hmmm... the whole dinosaur thing is kinda played out IMO. I mean how many secret Dinosaur islands are left? LOL. They need to make it like a post apocalyptic future earth is overrun by Dinosaurs or something and the remaining humans have to fight them. Yup. LOL.

The first one is a classic survival flick with lots of iconic scenes. Definitely see the first one at least. The other two range from slightly meh to awful. Hopefully JP4 will be better. There was a lot of stuff from Michael Crichton's books that could be utilized to make an awesome movie, but sadly it's been mostly neglected.

Many years ago my roommate told me about the storyline for JP2. (Warning he was wrong on every level)
He told me the storyline revolved around the dinos getting off the island & breeding in South America. Causing all kinds of trouble including eating entire villiages. I wouldn't mind if the real storyline was similar. |
