What's the most memorable scene in the Friday the 13th franchise?

12 films...if you count the remake, lots of mayhem, but in all that carnage, what is the the scene that stands out most for you?

I'd add a poll, but come on 12 films there would be too many options.

Well that last one when he was in space was epic garbage

BUT

the best scene was in the holographic room where he is beating the campers in the sleeping bags

I was laughing my ass off. Best scene ever from the franchise.

For me it's the harpoon to the nuts in The Final Chapter and knocking Julius's head off in Jason Takes Manhattan (I still laugh at that scene).

Honorable mentions, Jason taking a machete to the side of the head in The Final Chapter, the head crush in Part 3 and Julianna Guill's "stupendous" tits in the remake.

I actually liked Jason X...bad acting, good killing and a ridiculously jacked Jason = a good Friday film!

Most memorable scene? Hmmm...there are a few. I'd probably have to go with New Blood when he starts getting his ass handed to him by Tina.

Between squeezing the mask till it shattered on his face, sending a TV upside his head, choking him with a light cord and droping him through a flight of steps...you see one thing that you never saw Jason do before: Get frustrated with a victim. He pulls the cord off from his neck, throws it down and huffs and puffs for a minute...that was pretty cool.

I always thought in VI when he stood in front of the VW and popped the tire through the fender, that was pretty "classic" Jason.

I also have a machette autographed by Kane Hodder

I always liked part 2 (the first one I saw when I was about 8ish on The Movie Loft TV 38) and the dude in the wheelchair who gets the machete across his face and goes down the stairs. I also thought the potato bag was a hell of a lot scarier than the hockey mask. One of my favorite franchises up until Jason Goes to Manhattan.

Freddy V. Jason was also pretty good. Lots of good scenes with the water, etc.

The MOST memorable scene in the ENTIRE movie franchise MUST be from the end of the first Friday the 13th movie when the decaying Jason "jumps out of the water" and attacks the girl in the canoe. EVERYONE jumped at the theater (that was one of the first "surprise attack" endings in a movie which has now become an obvious cliche in all horror movies). Up to that point the killer was his mom..after that the undead & unstoppable Jason became the killer AND his first appearance was the "dream" attack at the end of the 1st movie.

The child Jason lake attack is definitely a good one.... for me though, the visual of him chained to a giant rock at the bottom of the lake stays with me.
