Sorry for not answering back about your customs request. My general dilemma is I have a full time job and my concern with deadlines. I'm even thinking of asking other customizers how they find the time to do it. I'm going to guess some are retired or currently not working or somehow have the capacity to do it. In the past couple weeks I cannot count how many people have asked me to do custom work for them. I can only imagine the backlog that would leave me as this labor intensive. A lot of customizers can work with molds/mass production, I work at the opposite end of the spectrum: I have to cut and handbuild everything. I haven't ruled everything out and yes a good friend of mine from the local area got wind of my work and then PM'd me on facebook and asked me to work a Skystriker for him. Research is another factor which goes into the work. I take it you used to be in the 160th SOAR or Nighstalkers? Do you have a lot of pics to work with? I'm more familiar with Navy Aircraft but not to say I've never done my homework with other vehicles. I did hear of a guy as that one person had posted that made parts for a DAP. If that option works for you let me know, I haven't seen all the pics of his work. By the way where abouts are you? One other thing. About 3 years ago this guy on another forum wanted me to do work on one of his vehicles. We agreed on about 3 things for it...then as soon as I got the thing, he kept changing his requests and then kept giving me deadlines EVEN though he knew I was reluctant to take the work in the beginning. So the original project ended up being 8 times what was agreed on and even though I told him I would work what I could because he kept pressuring me on his deadline, I told him I would complete what I was originally agreed upon and send it back to him right away. This was why I refused his payment. I wouldnt take payment until I was ready to ship. He kept telling me to keep working on the other additional things he requested) and just became very wishy washy about it so we really never got any resolution out of it. I completely envy those customizers who can churn out their work. It just boils down to resources. Anyhow, let me know.
