You know, it might be a good idea--if you've downloaded the entire run--to start in the middle (issue 50) and move forward. I bought the first 30 issues in trade form and the whole green shirt phenomenon didn't work with me. Personally, I enjoy the eccentric characters. I feel that Hama picked up in the middle. The first Cobra civil war is great. However, the "Silent Issue" is one of the best single issue comic books of all time. Check em' out and enjoy. Yo Joe!
I'll have to check that out. I've always wanted to read the comics, since I loved the cartoon as a kid but hated how some of the characters were wasted... Cobra Commander as a dimwitted pansy always bothered me; I always liked how Megatron was just ruthless, and CC should have been the same. I loved Hama's run on Wolverine, they were some of the my favorite issues. So I know the man can write great stories and flesh out characters well.
