thanks! x-man was a bit tougher than cyclops. now that i know some of your tips and tricks i might try to repaint some areas to smooth them out and get him looking a bit less shiny.
oh i just found the link to it, and read the whole thing. thanks for sharing all of those techniques, i will put them to use for sure. i have one question, the powder you use for shading i got a little confused for some reason, but you just water it down a bit and apply it? or you do it while the powder is still very dry?
No problem. I did see your Hercules. Amazing. I actually saw him in your blog, which I'm following, and I am glad you posted it there since I had, a feeling you wouldn't over at Marvelous.
I gotta say I'm a fan of your work and glad you're a fellow New Yorker. I rarely meet fellow fans from NY. When you get the chance stop by my blog and tell me what you think.
Just thought I say hey and friend you here since I'm a member here too. I feel like you got a raw deal over at the Marvel site. Except for a diorama contest which is over by now, I pretty much stopped posting there because of what happened. Your work is awesome as always!
excellent work, especially dig your Herc. Nice Tutorial btw, shading with pastels looks to give a more accurate flesh tone than a simple wash, gonna have to give it a go.
