I use Tamiya paints. There spray paints are easy to apply and level off easy. I use Tamiya for brush applications as well although they can sometimes be thick and have to be thourghly mixed or cut with water. I have sprayed so many different colors of Tamiya that I honestly use the spray for just about everything. If I am doing lite weathering or adding paint to a small area. I spray a generous amount on a piece of cardboard at close range and make a little puddle to dip my brush in. I make new puddles as needed. It drys really fast and doesn't show any brush strokes or gloop together. That is my biggest secret. Hope that helps, good luck!
