I'm wondering if anyone has tried to do a lego version of Zartan's shack yet? Maybe something with flip around consoles, like in the comic?
-Should it have a pier/dock for the various swamp/water borne vehicles? I've seen a couple lego police sets that look somewhat close, but nothing hits home just yet. |

That is killer, Todd! Thanks a ton for posting! Your shots leave me in awe. I think though, if I were to try my hand at one; I would probably go a little bit larger in size. The bigger scale could help to accommodate more 'noks |

...Good luck with the move. I advise against packing it all up because you know something will happen that makes your move two years from now instead of one. If you leave it all out it means you will move six months ahead of schedule. Its like guaranteeing sunshine when you bring your umbrella
This down time has enabled me some time to start setting up my man-cave/office/tool/toy room. I have set up a couple shelving units, and have been slowly unpacking my builds and kreons. If anyone is interested, I may snap some pics to throw up of what I have so far. In the meantime, I found my box of extra Oxford/Kreo dark olive green pieces, and decided to try to redesign my HAL, to be closer to geewunner's awesome build! So here's my HAL, VAMP, and MMS all done in colors that I feel are closer to the original toys. lMK what you all think! (I mean, ya'll lol) |

Hey did you notice I added a ladder to the HAL, to make it easier for kreons to climb up in there!? lol
Thanks man! I've had all my stuff in storage for a while, but with this down time, I've had time to start setting up some of my shelving ;) |

So I'm not sure exactly where I should post this, but just wanted to get some things off my chest.
I had missed my window to pre-order the Hasbro Pulse exclusive Snake Eyes figure, because I was in the process of moving and wanted to try to keep as much credit available as I could. After I got moved in, I looked online and saw two different vendors offering him. IIRC one was EE and the other was beststorev.com. I saw that the second option was a few dollars cheaper, and accepted Paypal, so I ordered two. One for me, and one for a lifelong friend (who is also a Joe fan). I waited for over a month, and then my package came: It consisted of two 12" Snake Eyes figures from the 2009 movie. I tried to contact them via email, but kept coming back undeliverable. I decided to start a dispute claim through Paypal. The seller: Dongguan Shunfa Logistics Co., Ltd finally responded that they would offer me a 10% refund, and for me to keep the incorrect items. I explained this looked to be a bait-and-switch, and that I would not accept their minuscule offer. After that, they made a "one-time" offer of 20% refund. I have also refused that, and stated that I expect a full refund, and they can send a return box and label for the incorrect items, as I did nothing wrong except trust what seemed to be a reputable online retailer. :( Still waiting on a determination from Paypal Last edited by stealthy slim; 05-08-2020 at 03:43 PM.. |

Wow. This is the world we live in, huh?
Sorry about all your trouble, hopefully Paypal steps in to help you put the screws to this "company". Last edited by Matt82; 05-10-2020 at 02:41 PM.. |

Hey thanks alot Matt. It really does help when someone takes the time to just say "Hey, or I know what you're going through".
I work on sets for film crews now, but the whole industry has been shut down since like March 13th. Two months without work, and six weeks into unemployment, but no word on my claims yet. It gets a little depressing, having to call bill collectors and beg them to give more time. I've never been late on my bills...ever, so this is all new to me (probably like alot of us, I'm sure) Thanks again |

I took a little time last night to put together a couple bricks sets I've had for a while now. One is the Kre-o D&D Fortress Tower: $12
built And the other one is a Lego City Arctic set: $10 built Out of the two, it looks like the Kre-o was the better value both together ...but now I have another sled dog for my Eskimo Kwinn set-up! |
