Bob the trick is to work smart not hard. Order a load from tru.com and cherry pick what you want. Then take the rest back to a store. I dont know how many of any one trooper you want, but 100 blind bags should net you at least 3 of every army builder probably more.
Four packs probably won't help much because you would have the same people grabbing them up. Army builder packs would be great, but would be a hard sell to stores. It's difficult to sell them to parents who dont know that much about the toys their kids want. The parents are more apt to buy a pack with four different characters than four of the same character. The TF army builder packs currently keeping the shelves at your local discount store warm weigh heavily against any argument made to Hasbro for more Army builder sets. The blind bags move. Easy sales will trump closeout shelf-warmers every time. Hasbro doesn't care if we want more army builders as long as we buy what they do put out. Just look at what is going on with the Night Vipers in the 3.75 line. |

I agree, army builder packs would be great. I would prefer one type of army builder per set. Wouldn't be hard to make a 3 or 4 pack of Cobra soldiers with a small vehicle like a ferret or CLAW and sell it for 12.99. Repeat for CG's, AV's, Vipers, Greenshirts, etc. Use those alternate builds of Battleship sets to make Pac Rat type weapons for the sets.
Back to the Con set, I got mine today. Nicely done. I used a blue arm from a TF construction worker and swapped out the red hand from my Toxo-Zombie - he now has two grey hands. And I have one Toxo Viper fully suited up. I may give the Zombie a grey leg from a TF as well. One more thing that would, have been cool would have been a double sided chest for the Toxo Viper/Zombie with intact armor on the front and damaged armor on the back. The backpack would hide most of the side you didn't use. |

Agreed. I find no fault in this statement.

And remember if you want more zombies, the Cityville line heads will fit on the regular Kre-O figures. I bought a stack of clearance Cityville blind bags and Police Station for the gear and zombie heads to go on clearance Battleship sets to mix with Joe. Works really well and the zombies have some variety in faces.

Its still nice to have official ones. (Even though some of the official kreons have hideous quality control.) I |

Or do what I did and make an Airtight helmet from a green TF helmet. I think it was Springer with some added bits. |

I'd hold off on painting that helmet since its from an exclusive set. I bet we see an official Airtight soon enough. If you are going to paint a helmet, use one of the more common red, white, or blue ones from a TF set. I have extras if you want one.
