Maybe someone here can help.
What is the difference between the Firebat and the Firebat attack sets? I ordered the Firebat labeled set on Monday morning, it still hasn't shipped. Now the Firebat attack set is listed as available to ship to home. I called Toys R Us, but they didn't seem to know a difference. ************Shipped earlier today, guess I will find out soon.******** Last edited by Duck; 03-19-2014 at 03:53 PM.. Reason: new intel |

I was wondering that as well. I imagine it's the same thing, just a mistake.

It's got the same 6 digit number. It's the same item.
Do wave 3 cases containing 2 of each figure? I only ask because I found 3 Air Troopers today and nothing else. They were in the tube, not the box. There was no box anywhere.

The site now lists the Firebat Attack as a ''CANCELLED UPC.'' The ''normal'' Firebat is still listed though. So it sounds like a duplicate entry they've deleted to try and keep everything in order, I guess.

This is correct. I attempted to purchase the "CANCELLED UPC" accidentally (more so that I did not pay appropriate attention). When you visit the Kre-O G.I.Joe section of TRU, you'll notice that there are actually two different listings for the Firebat set. One of these sets, however, has a cancelled UPC. As such, when TRU attempts to "pull" the set for shipment, the item is not available. I know this first hand as it happened to me. Things weren't all bad, as instead they shipped me a Thunderwave set that was actually $5 more than the Firebat set and it was a set that I did not have yet. Here's an image of both listings so you know which one to select: NO YES Hope this helps. |
