Shoot, I'm going to have to pick up some Gorns to use as D&D monsters (good idea, Iok!) and some Keensers so I can use his legs for dwarf customs!

Yeah, it does seem odd that they didn't do any dwarves. They'd be really easy to create, given they already have the majority of the parts...

And yes, it's a bit of a sausage-fest right now. I think there's one female Orc, right? Hopefully we'll get a few female warriors and stuff in the next wave. (We should probably move this conversation to the Kre-O D&D thread before we upset too many people...!)

Since pics are easier for me than lists, here's one for Cityville, Star Trek Wave 2, and one for Joe Wave 3.
Star Trek - Wave 2 and

After a few reported finding Wave 3 of the Cityville Invasion characters at Walgreens, I figured I'd look around. Found a few at one store and got them for custom fodder. I found the codes online, and they're listed in the attached photo.
Zombonaut has a typical zombie head, if you want to swap a ToxoViper out. Ranger Red is a woman and might work for Cover Girl. Sargebot's head matches Cobra Commander's blue, but it's a sensor array face, not a visor. I'm really surprised to see so much creativity going into Cityville after Wave 1's dismal sales and subsequent clearance at major retailers (TRU, Target, Walmart). I'm still bummed the scale is different, but there are some fun pieces for customs (Azimuth's alien head on a TF green body made for a real oddity). 74 Zombonaut / Major Meteor 75 Shadow Sting / Kickbox Carl 76 Danny Draw / Vinnie Shade 77 Azimuth / Jeb Braska 78 Tundraaaz / Redd Burns 79 Zarpo / Lonny Shore 80 Le Fang / Ranger Red 81 Sargebot / Prison Pete Last edited by cyko; 04-28-2014 at 03:41 PM.. |

It is a shame LEGO can't do something like this with their blind bag figures (giving numbers to indicate the figure inside).
I mean, on the one hand, it isn't really a "blind bag" if there is a number on the back. But hoping you get lucky is kinda lame. Just such a double-edge sword. I mean, I know LEGO has the bump codes, and you can sort of grope your way to figuring out what is inside, but a number is so much easier. Also, are there any other Transformer blind bag series besides the Microchangers? I thought that was it, but now I see there are blindbag figures for AoE.

I just read that Transformers wave 2 AOE blind bags are not going to have codes on them.

Then again, at least a case of Kreon minifigures don't have nearly as many bags as like a case of LEGO minifigures.
