Here's a non-issue specific observation: there are a lot of missed opportunities to show off the details in the molding of characters and accessories. Customizers obsess over which arms and legs to use. Well, those arms and legs often have pockets, pouches, knives, pistols or explosives molded on. Over the course of the ARAH and SM run, I think there are less than a dozen times we see a character actually use one of those molded details, whether from their body of backpack. Grenades, knives and canteens seem to me to be the most common. But Flint never reloaded a shotgun with the shells on his suspenders. Snake Eyes v1 never used the explosive charge on his leg. Beachhead never reloaded from the mags on his leg (and did he ever use the crossbow and grappling hook on his pack?!). I don't remember Gung Ho or Duke or Airborne taking an E-tool off a pack to dig a trench. Etc etc. The point of the comics (and cartoon) was to advertise and sell toys. The molding added play value - but was never capitalized on in the comic. Seems strange to me.
